Yes. Its the Louis Vuitton Silver Mirior Lockit. I just LOVE it to bits. It belongs to LV Prefall 2007 collection. N frm wat i know, its all sold out at LV, though i dun know how many pieces there are available...
I've always wanted the Mirior series, ( i know its aint everyone's fav but i jus love the glittering look ), n when i knew the Lockit was out, i was yearnin for it , though i did not tell Mr Dory, but somehow he knew about it it. So he decided to get it as my advance B-day pressie. But as we only managed to find it at supposedly " 2nd hand " LV bag shop, Mr Dory had to pay a whooping $3600 for the brand new bag , which is about 1k higher that the original price. This second hand bag shop has many past limited ed bags too but they have 2 new Lockits available, a gold n a siver. But now they r only left the gold Lockit coz the silver is MINE...( i just can't stop smiling )
My Mr Dory is forever so generous in pampering me. I m just sooo lucky..
But Wow.. I didn't know the price could be jacked up so much outside just becoz the bag is still new, usused n a limited ed. Boy m I shocked !!! Shall check with Rac another day.
Anyway, went for my hubby's colleague weddin dinner today at Merchant Court.
I just can't resist the temptation to use my new bag. So i brought it to the dinner..

Back to the wedding. we arrived at 6+ n guess what... the hotel carpark was already full , but yet no carpark full display sign was put up. Luckily, we met some of his colleagues who helpfully illegal parked in the carpark so that we could parked in front of him. So kind of him , rite??? N when we were at the cocktail reception, their other frens were telling Mr Dory to inform the others on where to park. Some of his frens had to parked as far as Liang Court n some even at Boat quay..Dats how pathetic MC's carpark is. HAHA..
I've always thought that Merchant Court's food was fantastic after hearing all the raving about it. But the dinner wasn't really that fantastic as i thought it would be as some of the dishes were cold, some tasted pretty weird, the serving is small ( everyone just had 1 serving ) n the customer service ain't gd ( lotsa bling blang), i guess they r in a bad mood. Or mayb its just me n Mr Dory who r fussy here.
However, I think MC is worth considering , coz it ain't easy to find a hotel wedding dinner table priced at below $900 for weekend. But this is pricing for yr 2007. But i think it will still be below 1k after the increment for next yr.
Saying this, it remind me of Me n Mr Dory wedding dinner LAST YEAR. Each table was already bout $900 n its a WEEKDAY. N with the increasing price year after year, i wonder how much is it this year.
No wonder everyone is saying" marriage is getting more expensive".
Seeing that its his friend 's big day, my dear Mr Dory helped the groom to bottoms up a glass of red wine which their friends offered.. N he turned as red as a cooked lobster, but he is not drunk.. Just that the zzz monstor is tryin to conquer him.. He is such a poor drinker just like me now. LOL... Luckily i've my license now otherwise he would have to struggle his way home before the zzz monster subdue him.
When we went to the carpark, we realised that many pple had illegal park too, guess there is no other choices.Who would wanna leave the carpark n search for a new parking space.. Luckily no one was wheel clamped.
Now that Mr Dory is back at home, with his intoxicated mind cleared up after eating some chocolates n hot tea, he is busy looking at the LV cataloge again. My cute Mr Dory, always so interested in bags for me.. But i m plannin to get him a LV bag for his b-day too... keke..
