HAPPI BIRTHDAY
DARLING DORY N DADDI DEAREST..
Its my 2 boys' b-day today n the blur me actualli tout its tomorrow due to my miscalculation.. How blur can i be... I'm actualli living 1 day behind everyone.. N too think that i still tout i had everythin planned out nicely... *SUPERRR BLURRR*
Luckily i took a look at my calender yest n discover that today is 16 oct.. Heng!!! Otherwise no cake for them liao... So no choice, I gotta cancel my appt with Mich today ... So Sorri Mich...
Due to my blurness, i onli slept 4 hrs coz i was busy searchin for recipes n plannin my schedule.. Luckily mummi helped me too otherwise i dunno how to carry everythin back home.. Thankie Mummi..
1st stop, i went to
B-I-Y to get all my baking needs... Its such a wonderful place to anyone who love to bake. I jus love it there... They are located at 182 Bukit Timah Road.. a few shops away frm Autobahn.
They have all the acessories u need for baking. So I bought lotsa stuffs, including this wonderful cupcake stand..
Total damage =$250. Oh ya.. I have also sign up for a cupcake class next mth.. Hope i can mk nicer cup cakes by then... Wish me luck !!!
Next, we went to Marina Sq to get Mr Dory's shoes.. Remember I said that Mr Dory wanted to get a pair of Asics RacerVII but yet everywhere was OUT OF STK. So i decided to try the Asics store at MS. Talk to the SA n he recommended me this
coz my dear MR Dory like his running shoes light,i mean real light but with gd cushioning.. So this will be the best... I oso bought a pair of cushioning which benefits every feet when running.. Hope it will provide max cushioning for my Mr Dory. FYI.. I didn't forget my Daddi's pressie.. but as daddi did remind us he didn't wan any present so we decided to give his an Ang bao this yr...
Afterwhich to PS coz we couldn't find a cake mixer at MS (mummi accidentally threw my cake mixer away when we shifted house.. sob sob )... The Gain City at MS is real pathethic with everythin out of stk. So we decided to drop by at PS to get my cake mixer n the rest of the ingredients for my cake too. Finally done with my shoppin , we headed home to begin baking...
BUUUUTTTT, another disaster, the cupcake pan i bought is a tat to big for my oven...
So i rush down to Phoon Huat to get individual metal cupcake moulds...
Wahhhh.. damn rush... but as i bake, i realise that the cup cakes get nicer..heee.. Happi happi...

Nice ??? Mummi say it look like a x'mas tree... *laughs* Its my very 1st attempt at deco cup cakes.... so dun laugh okie.. I will make a x'mas tree next time.. all red n green.. lol

Not only they love their b-day cakes, my doggies love it too.. Milano love those with icing.. while Michal love everythin...
I have also pack some for Mr Dory to bring to his camp to share with his colleagues.. Hope they like it too...
I shall try more designs in future... Time for a gd nite rest now.. Tata..
